For the last twelve years I've worked across just about every side of marketing — client service at an ad agency, client-side doing digital marketing in-house, digital production at a brand agency, and for the last few years running my own digital marketing business, DigiaGoGo.

About six months ago something clicked. I could see AI changing how marketing teams actually work — a lot of the strategy and consulting that used to be my bread and butter, teams were starting to do for themselves. So I had a choice: keep selling advice, or start building the thing that advice kept pointing at. I chose to build.

And I don't mean slide-deck concepts or 'almost ready' prototypes. I mean five working tools in three months — live, with their own domains and databases, solving real, specific problems for marketing and communications teams. Things people actually use, that save them hours every week.

What building them taught me is that I do my best work close to the team using them — in the room, shipping fast, fixing what real people trip over. That's the work I want more of: embedded with a marketing team, turning the messy manual jobs no one has time for into things that just run.
